Hey, hey, Friend!
Happy Friday, how are you? I’m loving the beautiful weather that we’ve finally been experiencing and taking full advantage by having lots of family time outside.
School will be out soon, and I am so excited that we have planned our first (and long overdue!) family vacation of the year. Are you as excited to travel again as I am?!
After the year everyone had last year, and the fire we experienced at our studio in March, let me tell you – We. Are. READY.
I’d love to hear what you have planned for the summer. Do you have any travel plans? Big projects coming up? Send me an email at vita@vitaliainc.com – I’d love to hear all about it!
Summer and warmer weather seem to be on everyone’s mind right now.
At least, I’ve got summer on the brain
Do you have clients that are looking forward to spending time at their beach homes, or maybe they just purchased a new beach home?
I love a beautifully designed coastal home – we have some incredibly talented designers in our area that have incredible coastal designs in their portfolio.

One popular Window Treatment option for coastal homes are interior shutters.
Interior shutters are a great option for beach homes with coastal décor for their durability and aesthetic.
They also allow you option for preserving the beautiful view from the windows without sacrificing privacy.
Ask the Right Questions
Make sure you or your workroom partner ask all the right questions when it comes to measuring for and recommending the appropriate plantation shutter (or as it may be, other window covering option).
Some things to consider when choosing a plantation shutter is how and if the client plans to clean their windows and how they prefer to operate their shutters.
Measurement and installation matter!
Be sure that you measure twice because you’ll only want to order once! Shutter mistakes are very expensive to correct.
Your interior plantation shutters should be installed by an experienced professional for the best outcome for you and your client.
Consider Your Options
Consider the impact of the plantation shutter style on the overall look of the space.
You have many options when choosing plantation shutters, including different materials, different finishes, louver sizes, and operation – plantation shutters can be motorized!
These are all important options that you and your clients will want to think about when choosing the perfect plantation shutter for the windows in their home.
