Custom Drapery Design for Two-Story Windows
Eberlein’s vision was clear. They intended to create a continuous veil of custom sheer drapery that would diffuse sunlight without overpowering the space. The result needed to be architectural, yet ethereal. Tailored, yet fluid.
Their design team selected a Kravet sheer fabric with a subtle horizontal stripe to be used throughout the home, from the two-story great room to the dining room, both bedrooms, and even the dressing area.
This project was about contrast, with tempered light meeting sculptural scale. The sheers needed to float like air, but fall with precision.The custom ripplefold draperies achieved just that, gently undulating across the glass with a quiet rhythm that complements the interiors without competing for attention.

Our workroom team developed a custom solution, weighting each panel at the corners, to ensure a graceful hang that stayed true to the intended silhouette.
- Complex track installation: Mounting ripplefold hardware along soffits, corners, and dropped cieliings required extensive coordination and custom bracket placement to ensure alignment.
- A multi-day installation symphony: With tall scaffolding, hands-on finishing, and endless steaming, the install was executed over several days by our team of experts. This was not a “hang-and-go” project. It was a choreographed effort where craftsmanship met choreography.
