#MaskAmerica: An Update On Our Mask Making Efforts

Have you noticed how rapidly the design and workroom communities have rallied together to help supply medical professionals and first responders with protective masks all over the country? I could not be more proud to be a part of such a wonderful and amazing group of people.

To date, we have distributed more than 160 masks within our community to hospitals and first responders, with more being produced by the minute.  Our first batch went to our local fire department 🙂

I am very thankful for my seamster, Boris Levitsky, who has been a part of this initiative since the beginning when we were trying to find a physician approved design for the masks. We assure you that we were very careful about practicing social distancing so as not to go against any health and government official’s recommendations.

I was very lucky to have another happy helper when it was time to organize supplies and prepare masks for delivery. 🙂

We’ve also received some very thoughtful thank you letters.

The Vitalia Inc. team is feeling so inspired these days. Everywhere we look, we see people rising to the call, identifying a need and taking action to do whatever they can to be a part of the solution. It truly is a wonderful thing to witness and be a part of. How are you finding inspiration and joy these days?

We are producing about 100 masks a day at this point, and will continue doing as long as we can and the need is still there. We would love to reach a goal of 1000 masks made for our health heroes and first responders!

Stay safe and well!  We will all get through this together.
